Brevini Planetary gears certified by Det Norske Veritas
Brevini has obtained the prestigious Type Approval Certificate from Det Norske Veritas in Norway: the type approval certificate was issued for planetary gearbox calculation methods and dimensioning, is valid for four years and was issued for Industrial planetary gearboxes and for Slewing and Winch Drives.

DNV Type Application certification will simplify approval processes to specify Brevini gearboxes since there will no longer be a need to produce certificates for material origin and working drawings for gearbox parts. We hope this will help our customers in the Marine and Off-shore sectors, where DNV Type Approval certification is highly regarded.

Det Norske Veritas (DNV), the Certification Institute of Norway, is an international non-profit organization that has been working to protect people, property and the environment since 1864.
